Looking at the Scale

Scale Pictures, Images and Photos
Yesterday I weighed myself...... I'm at my pre-pregnancy weight............. YAY!
When I had checked into the hospital I was at a twenty pound gain. A few days before I was at a twenty-five pound gain. I was only told to gain fifteen pounds but I am glad that even though i went over everything was fine. ( Seeing I lost twenty pounds in less than two weeks.) I think that I am going to start walking next week, maybe a mile or two day. I don't want to overdo it but I think it will help me feel better to exercise. I am trying for four days a week. I need to work on toning and arms. Carrying the infant carrier is work.... lol. Wish me luck!!

Walking

1 Pictures, Images and Photos

When I go for a walk I like to know how far I have walked so there are two site I have found that seem to help me figure out how far I have walked and also help me route new walks. My husband told me about US Track & Field a few years ago, it helps you find running routes or you can make your own. The other site I was using it Map My Walk. They have changed the site some since I started using it, they have a new map which is alright. I preferred the old one which I think you can still use but the downfall on this is that there is an ad that is on the map and you have to move it around to map your route or sign up to become a premium member. As a premium member you would have to pay $5 a month. They also offer an imapmyrun app for the iphone for free, which I don't own an iphone but would be cool.

Weight Loss Update

Hi! I thought I would leave a update on my weight loss. Friday's are my weigh-in days, I weighed in this morning. So far I'm down a told of 25 pounds, that's over a three month period. I have just under three months to go. I'm planning on surprising my husband when her get home. He knows how much I have lost but still it will be exciting looking so much better. Not to mention that I feel so much better. I have been working out at the gym a few days a week. I workout with a trainer once a week, which helps me know what I should be doing. But there is still the major step of actually doing what I'm told. I thought I was doing a good job until I realized that for two weeks (I think) I have only done two to three cardio sessions. YIKES!! So I was thinking to mysefl, "Girl, you have to kick it up a few notches and get going. The countdown is on and you need to move it. So get going!" That is exactly what I did. I got up this morning, brought Maddie to school and walked 3.41 miles. That's what I'm talking about. Kick it up and keep it that way until I reach my goal. Five pounds to 10%. I'm almost there and I will be setting new mini goals. I'm going to keep going strong.
