I'm 19 weeks pregnant, 5 months! We are still talking about names for our little one. We haven't decided on a name yet but we have decided on a nickname. We had decided to call her "ladybug". I was getting tired of calling her "the baby". Now we have a lil ladybug. Ladybug has been flying around in me, Paul and Madison haven't felt her expect for the one day a few weeks ago. I'm looking forward to Paul and Madison being able to feel her moving. Madison talks to her a lot. I always hear her saying, "whatcha doing in there little one?" It's so cute. We bought a little board book for Madison to read to ladybug. Ladybug is getting use to hearing her sister's voice and big sister is practicing her reading. :) Here is what is happening with ladybug. She weighs 7 ounces (about the weight of an average orange) and measures about 5.2 to 6 inches crown to rump. She will increase in weight 15 times between now and birth. Her kidneys continue to make urine and the hair on her head is sprouting. Her arms and legs are in right proportions to each other and the rest of her body.

Cleaning Frenzy.........
Today I was in a cleaning frenzy. I finally cleaned our bedroom. I had felt well in quite some time, morning sickness, followed by extreme fatigue. I had energy today so I decided to tackle the bedroom. (I can't believe that I let it get this bad. It really freaks my out.) Sorry the before pics are really dark for some reason. Before...
After........
And the master bathroom before and after.

18 Weeks
The nerves in her ears are developing which means that she can hear. She will be getting used to familiar sounds such as my heart beating, blood rushing from the umbilical cord, familiar voices, and other daily sounds. She can also be startled if she hears a loud noise.
I had Maddie take some picture today but they don't seem to want to download so I'll try to download them again tomorrow.
Bunco Rules
For those of you who haven't heard of bunco or don't know how to play here are the rules. I looked them up because I'm horrible at trying to explain stuff like that. It really is an easy game to understand and simple to play once you are doing it. Here are the Bunco rules I found. But really the most important rule is to have at least 12 people. I actually own the game and owned it way before I started playing but I was only playing with 3 people and it's just not the same.

Bunko
Once a month Madison and I go to play Bunco at my friends house. A bunch of ladies from church get together to enjoy the game. Last night was Bunko Night. I actually got a prize for most losses. :) A bag of easter eggs and a cute little bunny bell.
Oh yes and let's not forget the gift I won for getting a baby bunko! A cute little blue and white striped bag with a rope strap.... with nail polish. Maddie and I will be having a nail painting party this week.

Ultimate Blog Party.....
A little bit about myself. My name is Stephanie and I have been married to my husband for seven years. I'm a stay at home mom and I enjoy taking care of my house and daughter. My daughter Madison is in kindergarten this year but only goes half days which keeps me busy since she is only in school for a couple hours a day. I'm currently 4 and a half months pregnant with my second child, a girl. My husband and I have not choose a name yet.
I currently live in SO Cal but am from a small town in Western Michigan. How did I end up in SO Cal? My husband is a navy man, he currently has 15 also 16 years in. We have moved quiet a few times and have at least one more move before we retire. Our dream is to settle down somewhere. We haven't decided where we will retire to but we would like a house with a little acreage. I would prefer an older house with lot of character, built-ins and hard wood floors.
Don't forget to check out the party, they have lots of great gifts. My top three are:
58 Kitchen Aid artisan Stand Mixer from Moms Who Think
102 4-tier diaper cake from Lil' Baby Cakes
1 Gift certificate from Rocking Horse to Love
Other prizes I would love to win are: 15, 7, 27, 38, 8, 16, 19, 21, 22, 26, 50

5 Minutes For Mom
The Ultimate Blog Party is in full swing now, head over and check it out. You'll have the chance to check out lots of other womens blogs and there are prizes. My very favorite prize of all is the Kitchenaide Stand Mixer. I checked out the prizes a few days ago so that is the one I remember the most since it was my favorite. I will be heading over to the party later today or tomorrow. First I have to bring my daughter to the er, I think she has an ear infection and it can't wait until Monday when the doctor opens back up. So more infor to come on the party as soon as I'm back.

Bullfrogs and Butterflies Baby Contest
Oooh! I'm really excited to start getting ready for our baby girl. (We really need to decide on a name because I hate saying little girl or the baby all the time.) Maddie and I have already done some shopping and I have been looking around at site with baby stuff. I found a place that has super cute baby stuff, Bullfrogs and Butterflies Baby. They are actually having a contest right now to win a super cute mini layette baby bouquet.
The mini layette includes a bib, a hat, 3 pairs of socks, and silk flowers and greenery in a cute box.
They also have other really cute stuff too. My favorites are Little Ladies (mary janes) and Tillie the Turtle bath set. But I so love those shoes. I mean love but I have no idea what size I would buy so they would fit the baby at some point.

The Road of Friendship
One of my dear friends is leaving soon, she and her family are bound for the East Coast. Leaving friends is one of the saddest parts of being a navy family. As you move you meet new people and the friendships grow but you know that time to say good bye isn't far. As I left church last night I was sad because I knew that the time has come to say good bye, farwell, I'll see you again.... sometime. I'm sad to see her go, sad because I'm losing yet another friend. Yet I know that God is with us both. He will lead us both on the path he has set for our lives, we will meet new friends. I know that we will both make new friends because everytime a friend walks out of my life a new one appears. God will send us both the people we need in our lives at the time we need them. He may not send us who we want but he sends us who we will need.

17 Weeks
The baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone. The umbilical cord is growing stronger and thicker. The baby weighs about 5 oz, about as much as a turnip and is around 5 inches long from head to bottom. (I also read that extended she would be about 9 inches long.) Fat tissue begins to from this week and continues for weeks to come. Her fallopian tubes are formed around this time.
We have know that we are having a little girl now for about two weeks..... however we have NOT choosen a name yet. People keep asking me and it's driving me nuts. We are still discussing it and will hopefully have a name soon. Maybe I'll share........;-)

My Mom by Madison
This is a cute idea. Copy this note, ask your child the questions and write them down exactly how they respond.
I "interviewed" Madison and this is what she had to say...
1. What is something mom always says to you? That I'm cute and you love me
2. What makes mom happy? when I give her hugs and kisses which I love
3. What makes mom sad? if I don't listen to her and if daddy doesn't listen to her
4. How does your mom make you laugh? by tickling me
5. What was your mom like as a child? i have no idea
6. How old is your mom? 26
7. How tall is your mom? that I don't know at all
8. What is her favorite thing to do? shop, shop, shop and that's probably it
9. What does your mom do when you're not around? just clean, clean, clean
10. If your mom becomes famous, what will it be for? tickling
11. What is your mom really good at? probably everything
12. What is your mom not very good at? talking to daddy
13. What does your mom do for her job? take care of me and that's it
14. What is your mom's favorite food? I'd have to say.... mom what is your favorite food?
15. What makes you proud of your mom? walking around with a baby in her belly
16. If your mom were a cartoon character, who would she be? I would say Minnie Mouse
17. What do you and your mom do together? probably shop all day, play games together and sit and watch tv
18. How are you and your mom the same? that we both have the same eyes
19. How are you and your mom different? my mom likes shopping and I like probably doing nothing
20. How do you know your mom loves you? because she says it all the time and it drives me crazy
21. Where is your mom's favorite place to go? Probably to go see her mom and dad
22. What is your mom's favorite thing about your dad? that he's hansome and he wears glasses
23. Is there anything else you want to tell people about your mom?that she sometimes drives me crazy

Doctor's Appointment @ 16 Weeks!
We had an doctor's appointment today. Doctor said that everything looks good, what a relief. I still think that something bad might happen but right now things are looking good. I was still having a little bleeding which was brown, so they did an ultrasound. The ultrasound revealed a sleeping little baby. The doctor said that she barely fits on the screen of the ultrasound machine. She's growing that's good! The doctor also gave me the number to call and set up "the big ultrasound." The one where we would find out what we are having, even though we know I'm still setting it up. (I can schedule it for around 18 weeks.) I like to see the baby any time I can, it helps me know that she is alright. My doctor gave me a ultrasound pic today so I will have to get on here asap. My next appointment will be three weeks after my ultrasound. Let's pray that I will not have to go in before the ultrasound or until the next appointment.

The Two Tone Hair is Gone
Finally my two toned hair is gone! I had my hair dyed blonde in November and it had grown out quiet a bit. It was looking horrible with black roots and blonde ends BUT it's gone. I told the stylist to do whatever but it had to be darker, closer to my natural shade. So she used a color that is about the same as my natural color and highlights in the shade I had before. I said trim it up and she cut it the way I had it in November! I was thinking I was going to let it grown out so I could put it in a pony tail when I had the baby but it actually it pretty easy to do when it's this short.
