Beautiful Park in Coronado

I love that ocean breeze but I don't particularly like the sand. Yesterday we went to a park in Coronado and hung out for a few hours. I got Paul ladder ball for his anniversary present so we played that for awhile and Maddie playing on the playground.

After hanging out at the park we went to Cozymel's Mexican Grill. Yummy! It was so good. I had a tamale and chicken soft taco, the taco was so good. Anyhow we are planning to go there again. We did some shopping and found Maddie a new dresser for a good deal so we can move her dressers into the nursery. It feels good getting ready for the baby and just getting stuff accomplished in general. I haven't done much around the house since I have been so tired all the time. I actually cleaned a lot of the house today which is nice still I'm not staring at the huge mess anymore. Well back to cleaning!

The Two Tone Hair is Gone

Finally my two toned hair is gone! I had my hair dyed blonde in November and it had grown out quiet a bit. It was looking horrible with black roots and blonde ends BUT it's gone. I told the stylist to do whatever but it had to be darker, closer to my natural shade. So she used a color that is about the same as my natural color and highlights in the shade I had before. I said trim it up and she cut it the way I had it in November! I was thinking I was going to let it grown out so I could put it in a pony tail when I had the baby but it actually it pretty easy to do when it's this short.

Baby Girl

We had our 4-d ultrasound done on Wednesday night. We are having a girl. Maddie is thrilled about having a little sister. On Thursday we called my mom to tell her and Madison told her the baby's name was going to be Sophia Hole. LOL. We don't have a name picked out as of right now but we will soon.

Madison and I went shopping for some stuff for the little sister yesterday. Maddie picked out some cute stuff. We even found so horse stuff for the baby. Maddie says that her sister and her will move to Texas when they get older and be cowgirls. They are going to have a horse farm with lots of horses.

15 Week picture

Well I'm showing now so here's the belly! I'm 15 weeks and 1 day.

15 Weeks!!

I will be 15 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I'm really excited because I can feel the baby wiggling around in there. I'm also excited because we have a 3-D ultrasound scheduled for Saturday! We are bringing Madison to the appointment with us so she will be able to see the baby. I'm hoping that we will find out if Madison will have a brother or sister at the ultrasound. (My intuition is saying boy!?) I will post any information or pictures I get. Now for a little information on the baby.

The baby is about 4 iches long and weights about 2 1/2 ounces and is about the size of an apple. His legs are now longer than his arms and he can move all his joints and limbs. The eye lids are still fused shut but he can sense light. If you were to shine a flashlight on my tummy he would likely move away from the beam. Ultrasound Appointment...

I'm 13 weeks and 4 days today, almost in the second trimester. We have decided that we would like to have a 3-D/4-D ultrasound with this baby. I remember hearing about them when I was pregnant but I don't remember there be a place close by that did them. I had told my husband if we ever had another kid I wanted to have one because they are so neat. He agreed that it would be cool so we have decided to have one done as our anniversary present. The ultrasound is schuduled for March 7th and I can't wait to go! They say that they can do gender determinations at 15 weeks and I will almost be 16 weeks. I'm hoping that the little one will work with us and let us know what he or she is. But the best part will be to get to see that little baby bouncing around in there. We are bringing Maddie with us since she is the big sister and we want to involve her as much as possible. I can't wait to see her reaction to seeing the baby in mommy's belly. I will share all the info after the appointment.

12 Weeks......

I'm 12 weeks along now. I don't really feel pregnant, unless I over do it. I am more tired than before I was pregnant and the morning sickness seems to be gone. I'm getting excited now.
A few days ago I found out that one of the mom's in Madison's class is expecting too. This morning her son came through the gate at school yelling for Madison, "Maddie, I going to have a baby brother!" It was so cute. He was so excited. It's exciting to know that soon we will know whether Maddie will be having a little brother or sister. The lady at school is 19 weeks along. I don't know when I will find out the sex of the baby but it's not too far away. I'm going to place a poll asking you all what you think it is.......... or leave a comment if you want, telling me what you think!

Anne Geddes

They have an Anne Geddes store at disney. I loved the store. I could spend lots of money there. Here is a picture of my favorite thing in the store. (Which I bought, one for me and one for Maddie. We also got another doll but I don't have a picture of it yet. )

Maddie's Bithday Cakes

We decided to take Madison to Disney for her 6th birthday. I decided the make her a cake the day before since I didn't think she would have a cake on her birthday at Disney. I decided to make a mini princess cake, Sleeping Beauty. I made the cake the day before and we sang her "Happy Birthday" in the morning before we left. Birthday cake for breakfast....you only have one birthday a year, why not.

Once we got to Disney we knew that we had to try to get in at Ariel's Grotto because we heard that you can find Sleeping Beauty there. It would be tragic to go to Disneyland and not get to see her. They had two opening so we took one. We visited with the Princesses and then they brought Maddie out a birthday cake and sang to her. Wow two birthday cakes......

Later that night headed back to the hotel for a bit to relax before going out to grab dinner. Just as we were about the walk out of the hotel it started to rain and no one wanted to walk back to the park and get soaked so we decided to go to Goofy's Kitchen since it was super close by. We only had to wait about five minutes even though we didn't have a reservation. We enjoyed the dinner and visiting with characters, then they brought Maddie out a cake and sang "Happy Birthday."

Needless to say Princess Madison got the royal treatment on her birthday. She has a "dream come true day." Quoted from the Princess herself.

Baby Ultrasound Pics

We had our first ob appointment yesterday. The baby is doing well. The nurse said the baby was measuring about 2 inches and the heart beat was 176.

Positive +

The news is out.....................I'm pregnant. I took this test on December 14th, Pregnant! I went to the doctor on Dec 15 for a test which was neg, again on Dec 21 and it was positive. My due date is August 24th. My first doctors appointment is on Feb 3rd. I can't wait to finally go to the doctor. I have had morning sickness pretty bad. In fact this is the first day that I have felt pretty good since Christmas. Hopefully it doesn't last much longer since it's the gross feeling all day instead of just the morning or night. I'll keep you updated as soon as I know something.

(Yes, I know that test is upside down. You would think my hubby would have told me.....)
